Global Logistics Associate (GLA) – High School and Community College entry level certification
The Global Logistics Associate (GLA) is a nationally recognized certification program that acknowledges the completion of rigorous coursework in logistics and supply chain for entry level positions. This certification program focuses on the general knowledge of transportation/logistics and all associated functions necessary for the delivery of goods. Obtaining the GLA requires successful completion of a comprehensive exam.
The GLA program may be taken as a self study course, in-house training or at an ASTL endorsed concurrent program. ASTL endorsed programs have demonstrated excellence in four areas: curriculum, faculty, students, and assessment. The GLA designation requires recertification every three years.

Eligibility:
To be eligible to register for the GLA exam, an individual must meet the following criteria:
· Completion of an ASTL approved high school career academy or enrollment in a self study of ASTL endorsed concurrent program.
Certification terms:
· Administered by ASTL approved test sites.
· Valid for three years, re-certification required.
